There is no excessive reliance on diamonds. We don’t really use diamonds for very much. We just like to look at them. Diamond’s are also not very scarce. I doubt that we will ever run out of them. Also, if we really needed a whole lot of diamonds for something and the world’s diamond resources had been depleted (how, I have no idea), we could make diamonds in a laboratory. They are concentrated carbon.

What sort of question do you mean. My Mum would have loved to have a big diamond so she could sell it to feed us !
